Hafnia is proud to announce that Kasper Sørensen, GM (Hafnia Bunkers) has been elected to the International Bunker Industry Association’s (IBIA) Regional Board of Directors – Asia.
Kasper Sørensen together with Sheen Mao Choong from Equatorial Marine Fuel Management Services PTE LTD join nine other professionals on the IBIA Asia Regional Board, effective as of February 2024.
Formed in 1992, The International Bunker Industry Association aims towards being the voice of the global bunker industry and to represent all stakeholders across the industry’s value chain. With members form more than 70 different countries, including ship owners/operators, bunker suppliers, traders, etc., IBIA strives to promote improved standards, understanding and knowledge in the industry. In this role, Kasper will be responsible for overseeing and promoting the interests of the bunker industry, fostering collaboration and compliance, and in supporting the sustainable growth and development of bunkering activities within the Asia Pacific region.
