Hafnia is pleased to announce that we have received the Shipping Company of the Year Award at the inaugural Marine Fuels 360 Awards. As part of the Marine Fuels Conference agenda (28-29th November 2023), the Marine Fuels 360 Awards is a premier awards program that recognizes and celebrates the best in the bunkering industry.
During the evening, 12 awards across the Shipping, Bunker Trade & Supply, Decarbonization & Technology, and Bunkering Services categories were distributed, together with 3 special awards.
Hafnia has been awarded Shipping Company of the Year where judges have comprehensively evaluated nominations based on a range of factors related to the company’s industry leadership, performance, innovation, sustainability, customer service, talent development, D&I, and contribution to the growth of the wider economy and its ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and challenges.
The Hafnia Bunkers Team were pleased to have represented Hafnia in collection of this award, as a key participant of the Conference, in which team member Kasper Sørensen, GM represented Hafnia on the panel entitled “The State of the Bunker Markets” – covering the alignment of currently global trade volumes with the demands for Bunkers. During the panel, panelists from ZeroNorth, U-Ming Marine Transport Corporation and Ocean Network Express, moderated by Gerard Ang of BHP, discussed several topics including the expected bunker volumes combined across all sectors, sustainable procurement plants, fuel specifics commercial concerns, the application of harnessing end-to-end data for transparency, innovation and emission management and the opportunities and gaps in meeting business needs whilst thriving regulatory commitments.
