Hafnia believes in the importance of understanding the role we can play in sustainable practices in maritime energy transportation. By having a clear approach and strong management commitment to Sustainability, we are confident that Hafnia can become a better company in a better world.
Hafnia stands against Bribery and Corruption
Hafnia is committed to being the world’s leading provider of maritime energy transportation services. To that end, we strive to achieve superior financial results while following safe operating standards and high levels of integrity and principles. Hafnia has an established anti-bribery policy which guides our interactions with suppliers, customers, members of the industry and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Our policy ensures that Hafnia complies with all applicable laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in the jurisdictions in which we operate, and in particular with respect to the UK Bribery Act 2010.
Supporting our Staff
Hafnia supports any employee who rejects an opportunity or advantage that would compromise our standards, so that we can protect our reputation for ethical behavior and fair dealing with suppliers, customers, members of the industry and other stakeholders. We expect all employees to conduct themselves with high standards of integrity.
We prohibit the giving or receiving of any gift, cash, entertainment or hospitality where the intention is to influence a business decision. We prohibit unofficial payments or gifts made to facilitate routine government action (facilitation payments) where there is an intention to influence a public official in the performance of his/her official function and gain an advantage in the conduct of business. We also prohibit employees from asking for or suggesting any gifts and/or entertainment of any kind or amount from suppliers or any other person.
Hafnia provides training and guidance to employees on the company’s anti-bribery policy, and there are checks in place to ensure that gifts and entertainment given or received are recorded per company guidelines.
All queries related to Hafnia’s anti-bribery and corruption approach can be emailed to Mr Michael Rasmussen at email@example.com.
