Surajit Chanda, VP, Technical was invited to host and speak on the Singapore Shipowners Associations (SSA) Educational online webinar on the topic of “Decarbonisation Trends, Digitlisation and ESG”.
The SSA Educational webinars are hosted by the Educational Sub-Committee, who plan and organise seminars on maritime related issues to its YEG Committee (under 45 maritime professional members). During the webinar, Surajit presented his experience and Hafnia’s initiatives, before further covering trends in decarbonization, including Hafnia’s current ambition’s, evolving digitilisation at Hafnia and the effects on Seafarers and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) measures at Hafnia. Pankaj Porwal, GM, Fleet Sustainability also assisted in answering queries during the Q&A session at the end.
The webinar was successfully attended by over 55 participants.
