Hafnia is pleased to announce the recent launch of our newly established Chemical Pool and welcome our first member TRF.
TRF will over the next months, enter a total of 7 vessels into the Hafnia Chemical Pool, with 6 of those being sister vessels of Hafnia’s own Chemical Handy Fleet. The remaining vessel is the sister of Hafnia’s Chemical V-Class Medium Range vessels.
With this Chemical Pool launch, Hafnia furthers its overall Pool Management offering, to which earlier this month, Hafnia also launched an LR2 Pool in the product tanker segment, together with Reederei Nord and Chartworld.
On launching the Chemical Pool and welcoming TRF to the Hafnia Pool family, Atle Sebjornsen, (Head of Chemicals based in Dubai), states “It goes without saying that we are extremely pleased to extend our Pool offering and be able to attract such a renowned and discerning partner at this early stage of our venture into the Chemical segment. The global trading of Hafnia´s Chemical Fleet is overseen from its Dubai offices, encompassing a full Chemical Operations, Chartering and Technical team. Team objectives lie in engaging with leading producers, traders, and pool partners to establish further long-term partnerships.
With the Hafnia Chemical Pool launch, Hafnia, which is led by CEO Mikael Skov, will operate over 240 product and chemical tankers across their commercial platforms, from worldwide offices in Singapore, Dubai, and Copenhagen, and Houston.
