Hafnia Bunkers is pleased to have partnered with the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) and the 2022 Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition (SIBCON) as a proud sponsor in this year’s IBIA SIBCON Golf Tournament.
As a renowned member of the Bunker industry and wider community, Hafnia’s participation as a sponsor forms part of IBIA’s fundraising drive where proceeds are allocated to a bursary to support students in obtaining a degree in Maritime studies.
SIBCON is the world’s largest and most influential marine fuel event. Organized by The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition (SIBCON) 2022 was themed “Driving the transformation of marine fuels.”
At this year’s event, (attended by Hafnia’s Global Head of Bunkers Peter Martin Grünwaldt (VP) and General Manager Kasper Sorensen (Bunker Desk Singapore), an unprecedented line-up of global decision makers from the shipping and bunkering community convened to address trade and supply chain developments and growth and commercial realities of the fuels marketplace. The objective of the event that took place between the 4th and 7th of October in Singapore, also aimed to set the groundwork for critical discussions on digitalization and decarbonization and the implications for marine fuels.
